Gordon Stewart is a transactions lawyer who advises commodity trading houses, financial investors and developers and their funders, including commercial banks and private credit funds and investors on transactions in the energy and mining sectors and associated infrastructure.

Gordon has worked on a number of first of their kind transactions in the UK and Africa, advising clients on their financing arrangements across the full capital stack, including project financing, reserve-based lending and corporate financings. Gordon has a particular focus on the emerging markets having spent time living in Johannesburg and Moscow.
