- Crescent Real Estate LLC’s acquisition of The Crescent® was named M&A Transaction of the Year Award at the 2021 ACC Dallas-Fort Worth Corporate Counsel Awards. Bracewell represented Crescent Real Estate in the transaction, which was one of the largest commercial property transactions ever in the Dallas area.
- Bracewell and Pier 1 Imports won the Business Litigation of the Year Award at the 2019 ACC Dallas-Fort Worth Corporate Counsel Awards. Bracewell successfully defended the retailer and its executives in a federal class-action lawsuit.

- Phillips 66’s $3.8 billion acquisition of DCP Midstream was named M&A Transaction of the Year at the 2024 ACC Houston Corporate Counsel Awards. Bracewell advised Phillips 66 on the deal.
- Cactus, Inc.’s $621 million acquisition of FlexSteel Technologies Holdings, Inc. was named M&A Transaction of the Year at the 2023 ACC Houston Corporate Counsel Awards. The firm represented Cactus in the transaction.
- Prosperity’s $2.1 billion merger with LegacyTexas Financial Group – the second largest bank merger in Texas history – was named M&A Transaction of the Year at the 2020 ACC Houston Corporate Counsel Awards. Bracewell advised Prosperity on the transaction.
Africa Energy Week
- Eni S.p.A.’s sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited (NAOC), to Nigerian exploration and production company Oando PLC won the Africa Energy Week 2024’s Deal of the Year award. Bracewell advised Eni on the transaction.
American Bankruptcy Institute
- In 2024, McDermott International’s restructuring case (In re McDermott International, Inc.) – in which Bracewell LLP represented Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank on the successful refinancing of approximately $2.6 billion of letter of credit and term loan facilities – won the third annual International Matter of the Year Award.
