LONDON – Bracewell (UK) LLP advised British Solar Renewables (BSR) in securing up to £130 million in financing from the French private credit house, Eiffel Investment Group, supporting continued investment across their renewable energy portfolio in the UK and Australia.

This mezzanine holdco financing for £130 million of junior notes and placed with funds managed by Eiffel Investment Group, will finance the continued growth of their portfolio of solar and BESS assets. This follows the senior financing completed in 2025 and builds on the momentum BSR have created as a fully integrated independent power producer.

Gordon Stewart, who led the transaction for Bracewell, commented: “It was a pleasure to support BSR and their shareholder ICG on building out their capital stack with this flexible facility in conjunction with the Eiffel team. Private credit has become an increasingly important part of the holdco financing capital mix and we were delighted to have assisted on this transaction.”
