If confirmed by the US Senate, Joseph Nocella – President-elect Donald Trump’s pick to be US attorney in the Eastern District of New York – will take over some of the federal government’s biggest cases.
Bracewell’s Nicole Boeckmann, former EDNY chief, suggested to Bloomberg Law that Nocella “keep the current chiefs, at least at first.”
“When you see people come in and clean house, it can be demoralizing,” she said. “You’re usually losing institutional knowledge. He should get to know the folks.”
