HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP represented Sable Offshore Corp. in its successful closing of its previously announced purchase from Exxon Mobil Corporation of the Santa Ynez field in federal waters offshore California and associated onshore processing and pipeline assets.

Bracewell also advised on the merger of Sable with Flame Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: FLME, FLME.WS), a special purpose acquisition entity focused on the energy industry in North America, which changed its name to Sable Offshore Corp. (NYSE: SOC, SOC.WS) in connection with the merger.
