About Erick

A commercial litigator with jury trial experience, Erick Sandlin focuses his litigation practice on complex commercial litigation. He counsels and represents clients in diverse matters, including securities, fiduciary duty, fraud and energy trading issues, lender liability litigation, business torts, energy-related litigation and director and officer liability issues.

Erick represents directors, officers, boards and committees of boards in disputes against investment advisors or brokers alleging securities issues, unsuitable and unauthorized transactions, breaches of fiduciary duties, fraud and criminal acts. He also represents clients in investigations by and enforcement actions before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

Erick previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Priscilla Owen of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
