HOUSTON – The IFLR Americas Awards 2026 have named Bracewell LLP partner William “Trey” A. Wood III Best in State Leader: Texas in recognition of his work over the past year as well as his impact at the state level. The winners were recognized at a ceremony in New York on October 15.
About William “Trey” A. Wood III
Wood chairs Bracewell’s financial restructuring group and has more than 37 years of experience representing creditors, debtors, committees and other parties in interest across the bankruptcy process and out-of-court restructurings, including plan creation and confirmation, asset purchases and sales, claim allowance disputes and bankruptcy litigation.
Most recently, Wood has represented Callodine Group in complex bankruptcy proceedings involving Saks Global, the parent company of Saks Fifth Avenue. He also represented Key Equipment Finance in the Chapter 11 cases of Worldwide Machinery Group, Inc. and its affiliates.
