HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP’s Shannon Baldwin has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Investment Counsel. Both are associates in the firm’s Houston office.
Baldwin represents issuers, underwriters and institutional investors in equity and debt offerings, including public and private issuances and private investment in public equity transactions. She also represents privately owned and publicly traded companies in securities matters, capital markets, corporate governance, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
Established in 1981, the American College of Investment Counsel brings together lawyers who devote a substantial amount of their time representing institutional investors in connection with their investment operations. Its members work to provide a forum for the discussion of legal issues affecting institutional investments and investors. Fellows are nominated by their peers and approved by both the ACIC Membership Committee and Board of Trustees.
