HOUSTON – The Houston Business Journal has named Bracewell LLP partner Nancy McEvily Davis a 2026 Woman Who Means Business in the Outstanding Business Leaders in Law category.

About Nancy Davis

A trial lawyer with first-chair experience, Davis represents domestic and international companies in complex, cross-disciplinary litigation in the banking, energy and real estate industries. She has handled a wide range of bankruptcy disputes, property valuation contests, toxic torts and commercial litigation.

Davis frequently speaks at industry events regarding these topics.

Leadership and Community Involvement

Davis serves as the hiring partner for Bracewell’s Houston office and helps lead a yearly training program for the firm’s litigation associates. She is also on the board of directors for Amazing Place Houston, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals living with dementia and the families who care for them.
