NEW YORKForbes has named Bracewell LLP partner Nicole Boeckmann to its inaugural list of America’s Top Women Lawyers. The new recognition spotlights the nation’s most elite legal practitioners with notable track records who are highly regarded by clients and peers.

Boeckmann, a partner in the firm’s government enforcement and investigations practice, is recognized for her exceptional trial skills and leadership in high-stakes criminal, civil and regulatory matters. She has recently defended multiple high-profile clients against charges involving Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) violations, as well as several corporate clients, including a medical device manufacturer in parallel Department of Justice (DOJ) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investigations into alleged securities fraud and off-label promotion. She has also guided other clients through investigations related to fraud, the False Claims Act, sanctions violations and money laundering by the DOJ, the SEC and the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Before joining Bracewell in 2024, Boeckmann spent nearly two decades at the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York, ultimately serving as First Assistant US Attorney and Acting Chief of the Criminal Division, overseeing many of the office’s most significant prosecutions and investigations.
