DUBAI – Bracewell LLP senior associate Amelia Bowring won the Private Practice Rising Star Award at the 2025 Middle East Legal Awards, which are hosted by Law.com International and celebrate the outstanding achievement of law firms, in-house legal teams and individuals across the Middle East region.
Bowring, who assists Dubai Managing Partner Chris Williams with the office’s corporate and commercial practice, is seasoned in a range of cross-border transactions, corporate advisory and commercial contract work. She was recognized for serving as the primary liaison between Bracewell and Sony Music, coordinating all aspects of the company’s groundbreaking deal to acquire the music catalog of world-renowned artist Amr Diab – the first transaction of its kind in the Middle East. Her leadership and cross-border collaboration were key to the deal’s success.
Bowring was also honored for her work outside the firm. She mentors a number of university students in both Dubai and the UK, advising them on the next steps of their careers and reviewing training contract applications.
