Sandra Hahn Duraffourg focuses her practice on public economic law and regulated industrial activities relating to the development or acquisition of major infrastructures.
She advises clients on regulatory aspects, contractual matters and has expertise in litigation cases relating to projects.
Sandra combines skills in public law with a good knowledge of contracts subject to the rules of the public procurement code.
She also advises both network operators and market players. In particular, Sandra has a sound knowledge of the provisions (both domestic and European) applicable to network operators, as well as their technical reference documentation and was seconded in the Legal Department of the French electricity distribution network operator Enedis in 2018. She is also experienced in dealing with contractual issues specific to the energy sector (CFD or FIT contracts, CPPA and aggregation contracts).
Moreover, Sandra is skilled in legal issues specific to the infrastructure sector and is President of “Infravenir,” an association which aims at bringing together young professionals in the area to discuss the main challenges of the practice.
She teaches a course on the basics of renewable energy law for a French legal training institute.
Prior to joining Bracewell, Sandra was an associate in the energy practice at an international law firm.
