Sameer Ahuja focuses his practice on finance in the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors, with a particular focus on the Middle East and Africa regions. He has experience advising lenders (including export credit agencies, DFIs, multilaterals and private credit funds) and sponsors on a wide range of multijurisdictional, multi-source and often first of their kind project financings involving renewable energy, natural resources and power assets, as well as infrastructure export credit facilities, pre-export facilities and reserve-based lending financings. He has also advised on a number of different portfolio, ‘holdco’ and Islamic financing structures.
