Richard Bralow advises clients on a wide range of commercial and regulatory issues in the energy industry from infrastructure development, regulations and operations to mergers and acquisitions and complex transactions. His work touches numerous segments of the industry, including oil and gas pipelines, storage, and sales; carbon dioxide and methane mitigation; rail offloading and terminaling services; mineral mining; and marine transportation.

Drawing on his experience as an in-house counsel, Richard understands his clients’ business goals and tailors his services toward achieving them. He frequently assists clients in crafting unique approaches to commercial transactions and rate proceedings focused on accomplishing their preferred business outcomes. 

Richard also routinely represents clients on complex matters before federal and state regulators, including complaints, tariff modifications and notices of probable violations. With a deep understanding of the operational side of the industry, Richard works closely with clients to develop practical solutions and guide these matters to successful resolutions.

Prior to joining Bracewell, Richard served as senior legal counsel at Genesis Energy, L.P. Prior to that, he was a manager and senior legal counsel at TC Energy Corporation.
