David Marks is a senior corporate affairs and communications professional with more than 20 years of experience advising companies, trade associations, non-profit organizations and public sector leaders on complex reputational, regulatory and policy driven challenges. He counsels organizations on external and internal communications strategies, including corporate messaging, crisis communications and media engagement, with deep experience across the energy, manufacturing, infrastructure and other highly regulated sectors.

He works closely with internal communications teams to manage sensitive reputational issues and engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. He has led high‑impact communications initiatives, advising executive leadership on public policy environments, media engagement and reputational risk.

Prior to joining Bracewell, he served as head of public affairs at Equinor Renewables US. He also previously held senior corporate communications roles at several energy companies and served on United States Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources as press secretary.
