HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP partner Richard F. Whiteley will receive the Distinguished Service Award at the University of Houston’s 71st Annual UH Alumni Awards, which will take place at The Revaire in Houston on May 29.
Whiteley is the president of the UH Law Foundation Board and a member and former president of the University of Houston Law Alumni Board. He previously served seven years on the UH Alumni Association Foundation Board of Directors, including as treasurer.
Whiteley received his B.S. from the University of Houston in 1993 and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 1999. He chairs Bracewell’s construction litigation practice.
