LONDON – The Times has named Bracewell (UK) LLP one of the UK’s leading law firms for energy and renewables for 2027, including the firm in its annual Best Law Firms list for the fifth consecutive year.

Bracewell – the only international law firm with a London office exclusively dedicated to the energy sector – was recognized for its work on a variety of high-profile, first-of-a-kind transactions across the industry, including advising:

  • Adura Energy on the landmark signing of a new $3 billion seven-year, senior-secured reserve-based lending facility, one of the largest ever raised by a North Sea player
  • British Solar Renewables on a £335 million debt facility supporting a portfolio of 12 solar and battery energy storage system projects
  • Eni S.p.A. in relation to its entry into Argentina LNG, the country’s largest ever development project

The Times, in cooperation with international market research firm Statista, identified the top 250 law firms by asking barristers and solicitors in England, Scotland and Wales to recommend the best firms in various categories covering business, public and private client areas.
