Frank Maisano, a senior principal in Bracewell’s Policy Resolution Group, explained to The Washington Times that President-elect Donald Trump faces a challenge in reversing some of the key energy policies from the Biden administration.

A number of clean energy policies signed into law as part of the Inflation Reduction Act have provided billions of dollars in grants and loans for projects throughout the country, including critical investments in manufacturing in red states.

“It’s going to be hard to push back on some of these things that Republicans see in their districts as creating jobs, creating economic development, creating opportunity, especially for rural communities,” Maisano said.
