Partner Patricia Tiller will lead a panel discussion titled “Farmout Agreement / Asset Sale & Purchase Agreement” at the AIEN 2026 Model Contracts Workshop. The panel will examine key commercial and legal considerations in upstream asset transactions, including cash purchases versus work obligations and drill-to-earn arrangements. Panelists will discuss real-world examples of asset sales and farm-ins and encourage participants to share perspectives on the issues involved.
Patricia will also speak on a panel titled “LNG SPA & LNG MSA.” The panel will provide an overview of key concepts in LNG Master Sale Agreements (MSAs) and Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPAs), followed by an interactive workshop on drafting price review clauses amid geopolitical uncertainty.
Additionally, she will be co-chairing a session titled “Future Agreements and Final Thoughts” to close out the conference.
Senior associate Tareq Toubassi will moderate a panel discussion titled “Negotiating Through Geopolitical Shock,” which will explore the legal, commercial and risk considerations arising from geopolitical disruptions in the energy industry.
