In a recent interview with the San Antonio Business Journal, Bracewell’s Jane Macon reflected on her life’s work and the impact that she and other women have had on the legal profession. Besides the practice of law, Macon emphasized that her career is about continuing to give back and paying it forward, as there are plenty of other women who would love to walk in her shoes.
The advice she offers hits close to home as it’s what has inspired her journey.
“Go for the daylight,” Macon said. “You don’t want to get passed over because you think it’s too big a challenge.”
