Industry experts are suggesting ways that the incoming Trump administration might respond to the Department of Energy’s long-awaited study on LNG exports. The study included analysis of how LNG exports could impact domestic prices and greenhouse gas emissions.

Bracewell’s Scott Segal was quoted by Inside EPA, noting that “[i]n all likelihood, the report will be withdrawn by the next administration to remove any patina of authoritativeness it might have.”  He also added that incoming officials could find that the report doesn’t meet the White House Office of Management and Budget’s data-quality threshold.
