Jeffrey Holmstead will speak on the panel “In the Air Tonight: Regulatory Changes Under the Clean Air Act’s Endangerment Finding” at the 55th Spring Conference on Environmental Law, hosted by the ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources section. The panel will examine the origins and regulatory significance of the EPA’s 2009 Greenhouse Gas Endangerment Finding, its use as the foundation for Clean Air Act regulations, and recent developments surrounding the Trump Administration’s efforts to reconsider its legality and applicability following Massachusetts v. EPA. Panelists will also discuss the implications of these deregulatory efforts for both current and emerging air law practitioners.
