House Ways & Means Bill Would Kill, Scale Back Many Clean Energy Credits

Republicans’ draft budget “reconciliation” legislation released by the House Ways & Means Committee would make major changes to the Inflation Reduction Act’s suite of clean energy tax credits. Observers expect that the panel’s draft measure is likely to be an opening salvo with the potential for significant changes on Capitol Hill.

“This is the first serve in a long effort. It will change,” Bracewell’s Frank Maisano told Inside EPA.
