Bracewell’s Mark Hunting recently authored an article in the May 2024 issue of Governance + Compliance addressing how a ‘gold standard’ compliance program is not always the right fit for all organizations. If the compliance program is not carefully calibrated to the risk the organization faces, unnecessary and overly strict requirements can create a myriad of problems. Organizations should instead focus on friction-based compliance programs.
