WASHINGTON, DC — Bracewell LLP represented Competitive Power Ventures in the acquisition and financing of four operating wind farms in Maine from Patriot Renewables and other project owners. KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. was the mandated lead arranger of the financings which included term, revolving and letter of credit facilities. The acquisition adds 81.5 MW of generating capacity to CPV’s existing renewable portfolio.
The acquired projects include Canton Mountain Wind, Saddleback Ridge Wind, Spruce Mountain Wind and Beaver Ridge. The projects supply renewable energy to multiple municipal utilities across New England.
