Alex Dimock and Sam Murphy joined Bracewell on March 2 as partners in Dallas to launch the firm’s new real estate special situations practice. Dimock and Murphy represent financial institutions, servicers, receivers, private equity funds and high-net-worth individuals, and use transactional and litigation strategies to maximize value in connection with real estate workouts.
Murphy told Texas Lawyer that Bracewell’s collegial culture and the “One Bracewell” model really spoke to him and Dimock.
“Bracewell’s philosophy really jibes with us,” Dimock added.
