HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP advised PROPWR, a division of services company ProPetro Holding Corp., on its first commercial contract under which it is committing up to 80 MW of its electrical generation capacity in the Permian Basin. The 10-year agreement was executed in collaboration with a Permian-focused E&P operator to deliver power for production operations.
Service will begin in the third quarter of 2025 and will combine natural gas reciprocating engines and gas turbine generation to deliver power to a distributed microgrid installation, utilizing in-field gas where utility power is unavailable to support production operations.
