HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP advised PROPWR, a division of services company ProPetro Holding Corp., on a long-term power supply contract to commit 60 MW of electrical generation capacity to a leading hyperscaler data center operator in the Midwest region of the United States.
Under the terms of the agreement, PROPWR will deploy a hybrid energy system that combines battery energy storage solution (BESS) technology with high-efficiency natural gas reciprocating engine generators, which is designed to effectively manage rapid load swings, ensuring continuous, stable power delivery while enhancing resiliency and operational flexibility.
