PARIS – Bracewell AARPI advised Crédit Industriel et Commercial (CIC), a French financial institution, on the €39 million senior bank financing of the repowering of a wind farm managed by TTR Energy in the département of Aisne in France.

This operation involves the replacement of the existing installations with new-generation VESTAS V150 wind turbines with a blade tip height of 190 meters and a capacity of 4.2 MW each.

The Saint Quentin Nord project will generate an annual output of around 48 GWh, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 11,000 residents, while reducing their ecological footprint and optimizing the use of available land for minimal impact on the environment due to the prior existence of a wind farm on the same land. The wind farm to be built and operated by TTR Energy is part of the Ocarina Energy vehicle, one of the vehicles managed by TTR Energy. The electricity will be fed into the grid and sold at rates obtained from the Commission de Régulation de l’Energie (Energy Regulatory Commission).

Work to dismantle the existing wind farm is scheduled to start in July 2025, with the new wind farm expected to be operational by summer 2026.
