DUBAI – Bracewell LLP partner Andrej Kormuth has been named a finalist for Projects and Infrastructure Lawyer of the Year at the Legal 500 Middle East and North Africa Awards (MENA) 2026. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Dubai on February 12.

Kormuth is recognized for his extensive experience guiding clients on the most innovative and significant MENA deals, including his work advising the consortium on the Juranah Independent Strategic Water Reservoir Project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the first of its kind in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under a Build, Own, Operate, Transfer model. He also represented Japan Bank for International Cooperation (and commercial lenders) in relation to the successful bid by the Marubeni Corporation and Ajlan & Bros consortium for the Yanbu 700-MW Wind IPP. This project is one of three Saudi Arabian Round 4 wind renewables projects, all brought to financial close by the Bracewell team under Andrej’s leadership.
