Bracewell and Special Agent Michael Tzitzkalakis from the Department of Homeland Security, along with a local partner Task Force Officer, discussed how executive managers can effectively communicate with Information Technology specialists, cyber security consultants, lawyers and government authorities before, during and after a cyber attack on a corporation’s network. Michael was joined by Phil Bezanson, Managing Partner of Bracewell’s Seattle office, who regularly represents corporations in connection with cyber security at all stages of an incident, from drafting response plans to defending against related law suits. The highly detailed discussion was led by Bracewell partner Seth DuCharme, who served as the Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General of the United States and Senior Counselor to the Attorney General for national security, cyber and criminal law enforcement matters before joining the firm.
