DUBAI – Amelia Bowring, a senior associate in Bracewell LLP’s Dubai office, has been named a finalist for the Private Practice Rising Star Award at the 2025 Middle East Legal Awards, which will take place in Dubai on April 30.
Bowring leads all of Bracewell’s Dubai office’s M&A transactions, as well as assists Dubai Managing Partner Chris Williams with the office’s commercial practice.
She recently was part of the Bracewell team that advised Sony Music on the successful acquisition of world-renowned artist Amr Diab’s catalogue of music. This deal is the first-of-its-kind for a music catalogue acquisition for an artist in the Middle East. In addition to the catalogue acquisition, Amr Diab signed a multi-album deal with Sony Music.
Bowring worked closely with Sony Music in-house teams in India and New York, and she was the main point of contact between Bracewell and Sony Music on all deal aspects.
