About Todd

Todd has over 30 years of experience representing investment banks and public and private companies in capital markets transactions. He has successfully guided clients through more than 250 public offerings of investment grade and high-yield debt securities, preferred and common stock and other hybrid securities, most notably in the energy, technology and life science sectors. Todd also advises on project financings, private placements and strategic investments, as well as on corporate governance matters, including policies and strategies to respond to changes in regulation.

Todd is ranked Band 1 in Energy: Electricity (Finance) in both Chambers Global (2016-2024) and Chambers USA (2015-2023). He has also been recognized in The Legal 500 United States for Energy: Transactions: Conventional Power (2019). According to 2021 Chambers USA, Todd "knows capital markets inside out and nothing ever slips through the cracks. The deal is always done right with Todd."

Evergy, Inc. — represented the initial purchasers on the 144A offering of $1.4 billion of this issuer's convertible notes in December 2023

Evergy Kansas Central, Inc. — represented the underwriters on the public offerings by this issuer of (a) $300 million of its first mortgage bonds in November 2023, (b) $400 million of its first mortgage bonds in March 2023 and (c) $500 million of its first mortgage bonds in April 2020

Textron Inc. — represented this issuer on its public offerings of (a) $350 million of its notes in November 2023, (b) $500 million of its notes in August 2020 and (c) $650 million of its notes in March 2020
