Tareq Toubassi’s work involves advising on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters, with particular focus on the energy, infrastructure and natural resources sectors.

Prior to joining Bracewell in Dubai, Tareq worked with international law firms in both London and Dubai and completed a secondment at one of Saudi Arabia’s largest petrochemical complexes, bringing a commercially grounded, cross-jurisdictional perspective to his work.

Tareq acts for international and regional clients on complex cross-border projects and commercial arrangements across the GCC, wider MENA region, Europe and Africa. His work includes advising on joint ventures, M&A transactions, offtake arrangements, project development, feedstock supply agreements, regulatory compliance under UAE frameworks and corporate governance. He also has experience in data protection compliance, corporate restructurings and employment disputes.

Tareq is a qualified solicitor of England and Wales and a native Arabic speaker.
