LONDON – The Times has once again recognized Bracewell (UK) LLP as one of the best law firms in the UK for energy and renewables in the annual Best Law Firms list.

The firm, which has been included on the list for four consecutive years, was recognized for its work on a number of innovative and groundbreaking transactions across the oil and gas and renewables sectors, including:

  • CrossBoundary Energy on the first senior secured pan-African portfolio financing for greenfield renewable energy for commercial and industrial power
  • A Masdar-led consortium on the $1.1 billion 2-GW solar IPP in Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s largest solar projects
  • NEO Energy on the new reserve-based financing arranged for NEO NEXT Energy, a new joint venture that established one of the largest producers on the UK continental shelf

The Times, in cooperation with international market research firm Statista, identified the top 250 law firms in England, Wales and Scotland based on peer responses to a single question, “Who would you recommend if you weren’t recommending your own firm?”
