Oliver Irwin discussed with Energy Voice reporter Ed Reed the viability of power plans in Africa during a “virtual” media roundtable hosted by Bracewell’s London partners.
“African states are not able to provide those nice government guarantees for power plans,” said Irwin, speaking during the webinar. The limited capacity of the African states stands in broad contrast to the Middle East, where such guarantees remain a possibility.
