WASHINGTON, DC – Law360 announced that Bracewell LLP’s Ann D. Navaro has been named a 2020 Environmental MVP. She is among 189 lawyers from 76 firms recognized this year for playing a leading role in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters and record-breaking deals.

Navaro joined Bracewell in 2018 with more than 25 years of experience working as an attorney in the federal government, litigating and advising senior leadership at federal agencies on environmental and natural resources policies and programs. She draws on this experience in advising clients looking to build infrastructure, produce valuable natural resources or improve government policies and programs affecting their businesses.

Navaro represents a range of clients, including energy companies, infrastructure developers and trade associations, on an array of natural resource and environmental matters, including project sitting and operation, wetland permitting and enforcement, protected species issues and public lands use. She is currently co-leading the Bracewell team representing Kinder Morgan Texas Pipeline LLC and Permian Highway Pipeline LLC in a series of lawsuits opposing the $2.21 billion, 428-mile Permian Highway Pipeline.

Law360, a Portfolio Media, Inc. company, reviewed over 900 submissions from leading law firms to select this year’s MVPs. Winners will be profiled in Law360 in the coming weeks.
