LONDON – The Times has once again recognized Bracewell (UK) LLP as one of the leading law firms in the UK for energy and renewables by including the firm on its Best Law Firms 2025 list. This marks the third consecutive year that the firm has been recognized.
Bracewell – which is the only international law firm with an office in the UK exclusively dedicated to the energy sector – was singled out for its work on high-profile, first-of-their-kind transactions across the wind, solar, battery storage and carbon capture industries. Recent highlights include Eni S.p.A. on the sale of its Nigerian subsidiary to Oando PLC; Trident Energy on a new country entry to the Republic of Congo; and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and First Abu Dhabi Bank on the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant’s $2.4 billion green financing.
In cooperation with international market research firm Statista, The Times listed the top 250 law firms in England & Wales and 20 in Scotland based on peer responses to a single question: “Who would you recommend if you weren’t recommending your firm?” More than 3,900 individuals participated in this year’s survey, which ranked firms across 28 categories covering business, public and private-client fields.
