Six Seattle Lawyers Named 2019 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

SEATTLE – Washington Super Lawyers has recognized six Bracewell lawyers as Super Lawyers and Rising Stars for 2019.

For the 12th time in 13 years, Lance W. Behnke has been recognized as a “top-rated” tax lawyer. Douglas F. Stewart rings in his sixth consecutive year as a “top-rated” lawyer for intellectual property.

Both Annie Allison and Jared D. Schuettenhelm were recognized again this year as top-rated rising stars in intellectual property. This is the sixth consecutive year that Schuettenhelm has been recognized, and the fourth consecutive time for Allison.

Debuting on this year’s list are associates Patrick J. Connolly and Tyler Johnson. Connolly was named a top-rated rising star for his in work in intellectual property litigation. Johnson was recognized as a top-rated rising star in energy and natural resources law. 

Super Lawyers is a service that rates outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Rising stars must be 40-years-old or younger or have been practicing for less than 10 years. Selection to Rising Stars is also based upon peer recognition and professional achievement, with winners representing the top 2.5 percent of up-and-coming lawyers in Washington state.
