Bracewell Counsels Cheniere Energy, Inc. in Joint Venture Formation for Development of Midship Pipeline Project

HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP is serving as counsel to Cheniere Energy, Inc. (Cheniere) in the formation of Midship Pipeline Company, LLC (Midship), a joint venture created for the development of the Midship pipeline project (Midship Project), a 200-mile, 36-inch interstate natural gas pipeline project. The Midship Project will have a capacity of up to 1,400 MMcf/day to connect production from the STACK and SCOOP plays in Oklahoma to Bennington, Oklahoma.

Midship has filed an application for a Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, expected to be authorized in early 2018. The Midship Project is expected to be in-service in late 2018 or early 2019.
