Spotlight on Public Finance: Rule 15c2-12 Amendments

On February 27, 2019, significant amendments to U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Rule 15c2-12 will become effective. Former SEC attorneys Paul Maco and Ed Fierro discussed the impact of the amendments on the (i) initial offering and continuing disclosure obligations of issuers and conduit borrowers, and (ii) regulatory obligations of broker-dealers, underwriters and municipal advisors. The program provided an overview of the amendments and actions market participants should consider in connection with the implementation of the amendments.
