Bracewell Advises Underwriters in Offerings of $2.4 Billion of DTE Energy Securities

NEW YORK – Bracewell LLP advised the underwriters in three separate public offerings by DTE Energy Company of $2.4 billion of equity and debt securities. The offerings included DTE’s offerings of $1.3 billion aggregate amount of equity units, 2.7 million shares of common stock and $800 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes.

DTE raised the proceeds from these offerings to fund its acquisition of midstream natural gas assets in Louisiana.

Barclays Capital Inc., BofA Securities, Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. were joint book-running managers for the offerings.
