Board Directors Skew Older as Companies Loosen Age Constraints

Bracewell partner Rachel B. Goldman talked with Bloomberg Law about the growing percentage of S&P 500 directors in their late sixties serving on boards, and the impact on corporate governance.

Goldman notes that older board members with substantial experience are better equipped in providing valuable advice. Their perspective and understanding of various possibilities, solutions and ramifications allow them to effectively advise organizations and make better oversight decisions, she said.
