About Rob

Having acted on more than 20 independent power project (IPP)/independent water and power projects (IWPP) in the Middle East and North Africa, Rob Harker has invaluable experience and in-sight to guide clients through both the bid phase and financing phases of transactions.

Focusing on utility-scale power (including renewables), petrochemical and refinery projects, Rob has experience in project and corporate financings, including in the power, petrochemicals and refinery sectors, which comprise large-scale multi-source lending involving international and domestic banks, export credit agencies and Islamic finance institutions. He represents both sponsors and financial institutions alike in all aspects of project, development, corporate and Islamic financing, as well as sponsors and financial institutions on large-scale infrastructure projects, in the Middle East and in Europe.
