Michael Kuhn is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Civil Trial Law, and his appearances include state and federal trials and appeals. In addition to civil matters, Michael has experience with internal investigations for public and closely held companies including an assortment of corporate compliance and Sox issues, project cost overruns, whistleblower, employee theft and kickback schemes. The criminal and pro bono matters he has pursued on behalf of clients include antitrust, bid rigging, capital murder habeas corpus proceedings, prisoner rights and abuse, theft, homicide and assault.
Today, Michael serves as a mediator and arbitrator in civil litigation and offers independent consulting services to other law firms and firm clients in areas of practice relating to compliance, risk management and loss prevention. For more than 20 years Michael served as Bracewell's general counsel with responsibilities for risk management, loss prevention, legal ethics and compliance programs.
