Jennifer Queen Joins Bracewell as Chief Talent Officer

HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP announced today that Jennifer Queen has joined the firm as chief talent officer. In this newly created position, Queen will direct the firm’s attorney recruitment, professional development, diversity and inclusion and alumni programs. Queen joins Bracewell following a successful 25-year career in talent management across the legal industry including senior roles for other AmLaw 200 firms, as a law firm consultant and in a senior role for a publicly traded oil and gas company.

Prior to joining Bracewell, Queen was a consultant working with law firms and in-house legal departments to manage their talent strategies in hiring, development and retention. She has held similar roles with McKenna Long & Aldridge and Baker Botts, where she developed strategic plans for training, law student and lateral recruitment, associate evaluation process and other retention activities. Queen served as vice president and completed two terms as a board member for NALP (National Association for Law Placement) and was on the Board of Trustees of the NALP Foundation.

Queen earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Texas at Austin.
