IAM Patent 1000 Recognizes Bracewell’s Intellectual Property Practice

HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP is pleased to announce that the firm’s intellectual property practice has been recognized in Texas for patent prosecution, transactions and litigation in the 2017 edition of Globe Business Media Group’s IAM Patent 1000 – The World’s Leading Patent Practitioners.

In addition to acknowledging Bracewell’s IP practice, IAM Patent 1000 also individually recognized three of the firm’s lawyers. In Texas, Partner Alan D Albright is ranked for the sixth time in litigation, while Partner Constance Gall Rhebergen is recommended for the sixth-consecutive year in prosecution and transactions. In the State of Washington, Douglas F. Stewart returns to the rankings for a fourth time in litigation.

The “commercially attuned” Rhebergen is noted for managing the patent portfolio of one of Bracewell’s top global energy clients. Albright, who IAM Patent 1000 calls “silver-tongued before a jury” is recognized for being an “assiduous enforcer” on the contentious side of the practice. “Staunch litigator” Stewart is noted for his “flair for defending the rights of international technology companies in U.S. disputes, and recently secured a favorable decision from the ITC for longstanding client Toshiba.”

The IAM Patent 1000 identifies the top patent practices and practitioners in key jurisdictions around the globe.
