Bracewell Represented Saxet Petroleum in Formation, Capitalization of Saxet II Minerals

HOUSTON – Bracewell LLP represented Saxet Petroleum, Inc. (SPI) and its management team in connection with the formation and capitalization of Saxet II Minerals, LLC (Saxet II), a Houston-based company focused on the acquisition of mineral and royalty interests in the United States. Saxet II received an equity commitment of approximately $100 million from investment partnerships managed by Post Oak Energy Capital, LP.  The management team will co-invest alongside Post Oak.

The transaction closed on February 7, 2017.
