Bracewell & Giuliani LLP attorney Glenwood F. Hill II has been elected to membership in the Fellows of the Dallas Bar Foundation.
Dallas Bar Foundation (DBF) Fellows are Dallas attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their legal careers and in their civic contributions and are nominated by current Dallas Bar Foundation Fellows. Fellowships are awarded only to Dallas Bar Association members who embody DBF virtues. Election to the Fellows is evidence of professional distinction and constitutes a professional honor. Fellows are attorneys who have demonstrated a high ethical standard and a commitment to the cause of justice and the welfare of the community.
Hill’s principal area of practice is public finance. He has represented cities, counties, school districts, nonprofit entities, and financial institutions as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and disclosure counsel in public finance transactions. Hill has represented nonprofit entities in matters relating to formation, corporate governance, and determination of exemption from federal income taxation. He has also successfully advocated the passage of legislation relating to nonprofit-entity finance in Texas.
Prior to his legal career, Hill served seven years as a United States Army Medical Service Corps Officer.
