DUBAI – Bracewell LLP senior associate Nick Meyer has been named a finalist for the Most Promising Newcomer Award – Private Practice at the 2024 Middle East Legal Awards, which celebrate exceptional achievement and best practice in the region and within the profession. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on April 25 in Dubai.
Meyer, who has particular experience advising on major commercial development deals, rail and road projects, water, renewables and social infrastructure, focuses on front-end infrastructure, projects and construction transactions. He regularly acts for procurers, lenders, sponsors and developers, and he advises on large-scale infrastructure, transport, utility, energy and other development projects.
Last year, Meyer was part of the Bracewell team that represented the consortium comprising TotalEnergies, Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Alternative Solutions for Renewable Energy in relation to its successful bid for, winning and implementation of the Wadi Ad Dawasir 120 MW solar photovoltaic IPP in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also advised a lending group comprising Alinma Bank, Riyad Bank and Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking in relation to the Al Ansar Hospital PPP in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
